If you are looking for some tasty food in San Francisco then this place is for you...You can have some spectacular food, great service and good atmosphere here. Buffet have a wide range of variety specially for the vegetarian with excellent dessert serving. In short - the food was excellent and I would highly recommend it.

This is as legit at it can get. In San Francisco one can can the best of all cuisines the world has to offer. And this place does justice to the Mediterranean cuisine brilliantly. Everything was properly seasoned and cooked with decent portions. We took the vegetarian fare, and as always, meat serving places that can do exceptional vegetarian food too are worth top rating in my book.

Really phenomenal food! The lunch prices go late in the afternoon which is great and even overlap slightly with the happy hour. Super kind staff in a building that looks plucked out of Provence!

A surprise as we walked by and stopped in, but the Google reviews were right (if not underestimated!) definitely in the top 10 restaurants I have ever been to and certainly in the top 5 restaurants in San Francisco I have been to so far. This is my favorite place to get lunch! Everyone is super friendly and they give great customer service. They make the best wraps and sandwiches!! Everything on the menu is great!

This restaurant in SF is one of my favorite in the city. The food is so good film as are excellent. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend eating here if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed.

This is a very cute and friendly place. The inside is very intimate and the staff are excellent. The menu is plentiful and the portions seem small but really fill you up. The location is also great. The drink sizes could be a bit larger for the price.

We absolutely loved this place! Their menu featured a great lunch selection, available seven days a week, the best hummus we have ever tasted! It is a must try.

I been going to this restaurants all their 3 locations for 18 years now. super consistent. Great waiters and waitresses. Amazing food and a pastries desserts.

Super food, super service. Couldn't ask for more. We will be back when we are in SF. I had chicken kafta and my wife had the baba ghanoush, hummus, tabouli and falafels. All were fantastic!

Meh... Service was so-so, food was just okay, long wait (that is what it is and expected that to be a good sign but it wasn't) and pricey. Asked for some basic customizations and they weren't interested. Had small children with us and asked for some garbanzo beans as a side and they couldn't support it (they didn't have garbanzo beans). Maybe that is what you need to know, a Mediterranean restaurant that had no garbanzo beans.

Combination plate and bread were decent and fresh. Lamb was sub-par. The tomato sauce tasted like it had come from a can. Maybe it did. I did not ask. Just paid for our meal and left.

I took food delivery from this place in about 10 mins of ordering the food and everything was cold. Meaning they prepare food well in advance and just serve cold stale food.

had this restaurant for lunch thru fork able and tried the pomegranate chicken. - the chicken was nice and juicy and had a unique flavor with the hint of pomegranate- the portions could have been bigger

Food here is incredible, authentic, and reasonably priced for a full meal under twenty dollars. The lunch plate allows you to make your own dish and I really recommend it. Cute and unique decor.

Friendly staff, but I did not find the food to be particularly impressive - this if when I compare it to the best Mediterranean joints in NYC and San Francisco. Overall ok, nothing that would draw me to go there out of the way again.

We had not eaten here in a couple of years. The food and service were excellent. My 33 year old daughter ordered what she has for the past 25 years - the Middle Eastern Plate. The restaurant in Berkeley was her favorite growing up...We have even had La Med cater food for functions. Highly recommended!

I have not eaten at the restaurant I always get it to go as I live only two blocks away. Everyone is nice and attentive when you go in. It can get busy at times so just be patient for a few minutes while they finish helping others. I always go up there and order my food.

Honestly...one of the best Mediterranean food I have ever eaten! Also the service was amazing, plus the decor gave you a piece of authenticity with an SF hip twist.

I casually walked in for lunch without knowing much but might have accidentally found my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the city. I spent $14 on a braised lamb shoulder bowl and it was absolutely delicious and satisfying! Braised to perfection with a splash of magic sauce that’s so flavorful and look I’m the guy who typically asks for more but everything is just about right and you almost want to save the craving for the next time you come in. And oh not to forget the lovely service and ambience. Definitely coming back.

Cozy, little Mediterranean restaurant with some outdoor seating that is nice to people watch from on a sunny day. They have a good lunch special for $13 that you can chose 3 items from a list of different sampler entrees and it comes with a side salad, Armenian potato salad or their soup du jour. The grape leaves, spinach and feta fillo, and chicken kebab were all very good. If I go back I would probably get the full size entree of lamb meatballs because they were so good ! We also split an order of backlava for dessert which was outstanding. Served with some sliced strawberries and this homemade whipped cream. Great lunch spot and I'm sure it would be good for dinner as well! Only complaint was the service was slow. We were the only ones outside so I think they kept forgetting about us. Would still recommend and go back !

It's OK at best. I was hoping for much better food.

We popped in here after a day of wine tasting and had a really nice meal with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. The service was really good. The lamb meatballs, salmon kebabs and the combination plate were really filling and offered at good prices as well.

Surprisingly, I have opened delicious Mediterranean cuisine for myself with this restaurant recently. Gorgeous chicken kebab, fresh greens, sandwiches, and, of course, pita bread help survive these shelter-in-place evenings.

It's alright. When I tried the chicken soup I realized I've had a similar soup before and I didn't like it then and I didn't like it now. The chicken was very thinly shredded. It felt like I was eating bits of thread. I get that this is a particular style of soup other people enjoy, but it's just not for me. The meatballs and rice I had were also okay. It didn't blow me away in terms of flavor. Tomato-y and slightly spiced. Cute place for a quiet lunch with a friend or a solo dining experience because the tables are small.

Very nice restaurant. I liked the interest-items hung on the walls. A few very nice inspirations for initiating conversations. The food was tasty.I did not care for the Ukrainian Potato Salad. The potato salad tasted mostly like vinegar on potatoes. The amount of vinegar covered up all the mild flavors of the diversity of ingredients. Amazing! Quick, friendly service. Food was ready in a heartbeat and absolutely delicious! Bathroom sanitized every hour.

Got the veggie plate takeout and was underwhelmed. Yes, it's takeout but things were a little samey and dry. Their salad was quite nice though and a great tomato dressing. The pita and hummus were also pretty good.

This is a little neighborhood gem with great food, good value and the most consistently warm and wonderful staff. Arthur (who manages the place) is incredible...he always has a smile and happy demeanor, remembers us, and makes us feel like we are personal guests in his home. Don't know how he does it. Long live La Mediterranee!

Love this spot! The food is delicious and pretty authentic. Fantastic value for money, great service (speedy too), and a fun atmosphere. If you're opting for lunch here on the weekend, do your best to get there just before /around 1w as this pla e fills up super fast!

Nice place to take in a short rest from walking Fillmore. Food was fantastic, atmosphere was busy but on point and the service was warm and welcoming. Felt a little cramped but it was enjoyably quaint.
